About Jasper, Indiana 

Jasper is located in Bainbridge Township in the Center of Dubois County. Jasper in 122 miles south of Indianapolis, 55 miles northeast of Evansville and 79 miles west of Louisville, Kentucky. 

Jasper is a regional center in Southwestern Indiana and has been called the "Wood Capital of the World". Jasper is home to furniture companies like Kimball International and Masterbrand Cabinets. Also located in Jasper is Jasper Engines and Transmissions, Memorial Hospital, Jasper Rubber, JasperGroup and Vincennes University Jasper Campus. 

In 2022, Jasper won the annual Strong Towns "Strongest Town" competition. 

Our School Corporation has four schools that serve students from Pre-Kindergarten to the 12th grade. Ireland Elementary serves Pre-Kindergarten to 5th Grade, Jasper Elementary School serves Pre-Kindergarten to 5th Grade, Jasper Middle School serves grades 6-8, and Jasper High School serves grades 9-12.
