Camp Pre-K
Camp Pre-K at Ireland Elementary
July 17th-20th from 8:30-11:00 A.M. at Ireland Elementary
Do you want your child to get a glimpse of what Pre-Kindergarten will be like? Ireland Elementary will be offering a summer camp where we will be moving and learning as we prepare them for their fun school year in Pre-K! Some activities include painting, cutting, gluing, writing and gross motor skills. Snacks will be provided.

Cruisin' Into Kindergarten
Monday July 17-Thursday July 20th from 8:30-11:00 am or 12:30-3:00pm. The cost is $50 per student. This will be hosted by Kathy Wagner and Stacey Metz.
This camp is a fantastic way to introduce the Kindergarten experience to any child entering Kindergarten in August of 2023.
Shake, Rattle, and Roll
Shake, Rattle, and Roll
Shake, Rattle, and Roll is for incoming PreK-2nd Graders and incoming 3rd-5th Graders. 3rd and 5th will be a dance/cheer camp to prep for JMS and JHS. It will take place July 31-August 4 at the Jasper Middle School Gym. Pre-K through 2nd Grade will take place from 9-10:30, Grades 3-5 will be from 10:45-12:15. This will be hosted by Jill Wigan. The cost is $45.
This program offers gymnastics, cheerleading, hip hop dance, and pom dance. This class is for beginners and intermediate levels. The gymnastics intermediate level is for participants who are still working on their back handsprings. Beginners will be learning handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, back bends, & back walk-overs. Participants will learn basic fundamentals to perfect their skills. Along with gymnastics, participants will learn basic dance techniques for pom and hip hop dance, cheerleading techniques including motions, jumpsm and basic building, along with cheers and chants. The 3rd-5th grade will follow the same format but will be more intensive, and geared towards preparing participants for tryouts for middle school and high school dance and cheerleading.
STEAM Summer Fun Camp
STEAM Summer Fun Camp
The STEAM Summer Fun Camp will take place at Ireland Elementary School July 17-20 from 8:30-11:00 OR from 12:30-3:00. The cost is $50 per student. There is a camp available for students who completed Grade K-2 in the 2022-2023 school year and a camp for students who completed Grades 3-5 in the 2022-2023 school year.
Grades K-2: A STEAMsational Experience. No chance you'll run out of STEAM for learning with all the excitement we have planned for you! You will prove your problem solving skills and creativity to overcome any challenge, all while having FUN. Fair warning, you will be active and you might get messy! Do you accept the challenge? This camp will be put on by Ashley O'Connor and Sarah Johnson.
Grades 3-5: Happy Holidays - STEAM Style! Let's celebrate some of our favorite holidays, STEAM-Style! You will get to use your problem solving skills to complete holiday themed STEAM challenges. Each day, we will celebrate a different holiday, complete with dress and a holiday themed snack! Sign up to find out more about what HOLIDAYS we will be celebrating! This camp will be put on by Emily Freeman and Amanda Beck.
Summer PE
Summer P.E.
Join us June 26-June 29 at Jasper Elementary School from 9:30-11:30 am for Summer P.E.. This is available for incoming 1st-5th Graders. The cost is $30. Lunch will be provided at JES.
Join us for a fun atmosphere that allows kids to be active through physical movement, team building activities, traditional sports and playground games.
Introduction to Piano
Introduction to Piano
Beginner piano lessons will be offered to students in grades K-12 by Mrs. Courtney Heberer. Each student will receive an introductory piano book to use and keep that is age appropriate. Students will be required to have headphones for this course. Sign up by May 26. There are a variety of sessions available and you will pay by the number of sessions you wish to attend.
Chopped! Culinary Skills
Chopped! Culinary Skills FACS Summer Enrichment Program
This program will take place June 19th-June 23rd from 9:00am-12:00pm at Jasper Middle School. Students entering grades 6-12 are able to attend. The program will cost $90 (cost includes lunch every day) and will be instructed by Haley Ondiek.
This 5-day program will teach students the basics of cooking on a stovetop. The students will also learn some knife skills and other practical culinary techniques. Each day students will get hands-on experience with food. students will work with beef, chicken, and fresh garden produce. They will create homemade pasta and sauces from scratch. On the last day, there will be a "CHOPPED" Competition - students will work in teams to create a meal from a variety of "surprise" food ingredients presented to them. This program would be great for kids who are already somewhat comfortable in the kitchen, but beginners are also welcome!
Cupcake Fun 101
Cupcake Fun 101 - FACS Summer Enrichment Program
This program will take place June 22nd and 23rd from 12:30-3:00 pm at Jasper Middle School. This is available to students entering grades 6-12. The cost is $30 per student. The program will be instructed by Haley Ondiek.
Students will bake and creatively decorate cupcakes in this two-day program. Students will get experience filling cupcakes and piping icing onto cupcakes. We will also explore several creative ways to decorate cupcakes! Your child will being home goodies to share!
Sewing Crafts Class
Sewing Crafts Class
This class will take place June 19th-21st from 12:30-3:30 at Jasper Middle School. The cost is $50 and the course will be instructed by Haley Ondiek.
Students will learn to sew and create projects on a sewing machine. They will be cutting, pinning, pressing, and learning some other basic textile skills as well! Students will create a stuffed animal and one or two other smaller projects to keep. All materials and sewing machines are provided. This class is best for beginner or intermediate sewers. If students are enrolled in the morning Chopped! classes, they are allowed to remain in the classroom until the sewing class begins.
Physical Conditioning and Weight Training
Physical Conditioning and Weight Training
This program will take place May 30-June 2, June 5-8, and June 12-15 from 8:00am-10:00am at Jasper Middle School. The cost is $60. It will be instructed by Matt Pryor who will be assisted by Ben Mundy and Paul Nichter.
Middle school students will be instructed in proper weightlifting techniques. Total fitness concepts of strength, flexibility, speed, agility, and cardiovascular endurance will be emphasized.
