Special Awards Given At 1:00 on March 31, all students will come to the gym for a special awards program. Students’ 2019 ILEARN scores from the state were analyzed, and those students who received the highest possible designation from the state in both performance and growth will be acknowledged. This year we will honor the following: 71 Students “Highest Performance Designation in the State of Indiana for Language Arts” 100 Students “Highest Performance Designation in the State of Indiana for Math” 86 Students “Highest Growth Designation in the State of Indiana for Language Arts” 97 Students “Highest Growth Designation in the State of Indiana for Math” As always, all parents are welcome to attend.

Save the Date put

As we grow older in life, we find that memories grow in importance. On Wednesday, May 20, we are planning on saying good-bye to Tenth Street Elementary School in an afternoon program. Although many of our details have yet to be solidified, we are going to have a formal opening of the Tenth Street time capsule that afternoon. Past students and staff members are encouraged to attend. 

M.A.T.H. Bowl Set math

The following students will represent Tenth Street Elementary in our state-wide competition for M.A.T.H. on Tuesday, April 14: Camden Bonner, Arden Brames, Sutton Brosmer, Maddex Garrett, Eliza Gaug, Jace Hafele, Drake Hagan, Parker Jahn, Hadlie Kippenbrock, Vanessa Ramirez Acosta,Addison Schnarr, Augie Simmers, Jett Springer, and Isaak Wiscaver. A special thank you goes to Mrs. Beier and Mrs. Buse for coaching our team this year. Good luck!

Tenth Street Elementary School is proud to announce that our community and wonderful patrons of our school allowed us to raise over $9,000 in profit at our last ever “Tenth Street Elementary School Quarter Auction”. We would like to thank all staff members and members of our PTC for making such an impact in our school. We are especially grateful for such caring and dedicated group of officers to lead the charge.
