The Parent Teacher Club welcomes you to Tenth Street Elementary School. This school year will bring a renewed emphasis on generating parent volunteers. One of the major goals of the school will be to increase an already high percentage of parent volunteers. In the past, our parents have contributed immensely in terms of committing time and effort.
As your executive committee, throughout the entire school year, we will remain committed to our goal of maintaining open communications between parents, teachers, and students in a friendly, constructive, learning environment.
Tenth Street Elementary School is open for parent visitation and Kent Taylor, the principal, invites you to contact him for questions, or concerns, at any time on school days between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the principal’s office.

MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES
August 28 “Get Acquainted” meeting – Tenth Street Gym – 7:00 p.m.
Mr. Taylor will introduce the entire faculty. After that, parents
and students will have the opportunity to visit with teachers
in their classrooms.

December 4

School Christmas Program – All Grades – Tenth Street Gym


March 14

School Skating Party – Skate Palace – 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.


April 18

Art Festival – 7:00 p.m. – Tenth Street Gym
*Children are invited to attend all meetings.
All parents of Tenth Street Elementary School students are automatic PTC members. However, we ask for donation per family, which is used for club expenses. Parents may choose to participate in the fundraiser or by making a cash donation. Remember, all funds generated go toward improving your child’s education.

We are looking forward to a progressive and happy school year for you and your child. Working together, we will all be winners!
